Splendid Weekend!!!

I know am late posting or updating my blog from the weekend event again which I’ve done that a lot lately. Anyway, Saturday was a splendid day for us here! Hubby took me to a German festival at Muenster, Texas! It was about an hour and half drive from home, but going to an occasions like this we never fails to do it each year. The people are quite interesting with their own culture and customs they present at the said occasion. They have a lot of stuff going on around which we enjoyed watching the show...plus they have a band performing at the stage. And not to mention there is tons kind of foods they are selling on every corner!

As soon as we got there, hubby and I both ordered bratwurst sausage with fries. We definitely eat too much...again because we also had a funnel cake as a dessert. Afterward we were walking around the place to see the games, concert and such at the event. After a few hours of walking we decided to buy and tasted some of their foods which are surprisingly were delicious...plus I bought a turkey leg for myself! And at the end of the day, we decided to go home because it was getting dark, you see, and obviously we were getting tired from walking for several hours. Hubby took bunch of pictures before we left though so I have something to post in my blog..lol!

Anyway, attending an event like this, it always reminds me of home especially the town I grew up. The only difference is here you have to pay the entrance to able to see all the interesting going on inside, unlike back home you can just come and go without paying anything. But despite all that, we had a blast attending the event and also we get to spend more time together! I can’t wait to attend another upcoming festivals in town!

Grocery Shopping Made Easy!

Going to a grocery shopping it makes so easy these days especially when I don’t have to check out through cahiers anymore since I like to check myself out. I just love the self check out because it’s the fast lane that it makes my grocery shopping even better no matter what time of the day.

The good thing about our technology advances nowadays is most store provides electric barcode scanner for customers to use. It is way so easy when you can just scan your items right away and its hassle free! And also very convenient!!!

We Had a Busy and Blast Weekend!...

Yes! We had a very busy and blast weekend! Saturday, the husband and I spent time together during the day because I had to work late. And came Sunday it was a busy day as well for Annie’s baby shower. Closed friends were the party’s attendees with their adorable babies.

It was a fantastic day for all of us with endless chit chat since we speak the same language (Visayan). Indeed, it was fun party with our non-stop talking while the babies were playing! And also we had lots of food (Filipino dish) as usual since I love to cook! At least I didn’t have to worry about eating all the left over myself because they take some food home, which makes me so glad!

To Annie and Anthony, congrats to both of you! I can’t wait to see the little one soon! I am so excited for you Annie. And I would like to thanks to the attendees for the party, thank you so very much for coming over Ladies! Although it was only a small party but it turned out great! It was so good seeing ya`ll again, and I will see you next time!

Historic Hotels

Going on a vacation is always great especially to a place that you have never been to before. I would be so thrilled if the husband and I can manage to go on vacation this summer, because that’s the only way we could spend more time together. You know, some sort of our gateway vacation for ourselves which we pretty much deserve it. I just want to relax and forget the outside world for a few days so we can have fun!

It would be so nice if we could go this year, and I would really like us to stay at one of those historic hotels. I just really wish that it will happen this year though. And I’m keeping my fingers cross!

Planted All My Veggies....

...yap, I am done planting all my veggies already. Last Saturday my MIL came over helping me out in the garden and to plants some of the veggies. It’s been raining last weekend, so I didn’t finish planting all the seeds right then because the ground was too wet. I`ve waited a few days though before I could plant the rest of the seeds. And finally I’ve done it today...I am so excited!

I will keep you update about my garden soon for sure guy! You should see me right now, I am grinning from ear to ear because I couldn’t wait to harvest some veggies in my own garden soon! This is what I like about warm weather is the GARDENING!

I have always love purses, or a handbag addict I should say since I’ve collected them. Every time I go in the store, I always look for handbags! Even if I don’t buy them right away, but at least that gives me a pretty good idea where I can buy it next time. And now that I got a new job, I considered myself to buy a promotional tote bags for everyday use back and fort to work.

Our Wedding Anniversary!!!

Time flies really fast; March is gone and now is April already which is a very special month celebration for us. Today is our 7th wedding anniversary, exactly the day we`ve got married! It has been a blissful seven years for us. I just couldn’t believe that it has been that long though, because it seems like we just have met about a year ago! I am just so lucky being married to my wonderful husband who never stops loving me. To you HUBBY thank you! You are my world, and everything that a woman could ever ask for!!!
